Seven Up: 2026 NFL Draft risers in Week 6 of College Football
Six weeks down, seven players whose 2026 NFL Draft stock is on the rise
Now six weeks into the College Football season, each player in the 2026 NFL Draft class has at least one resume game under their belt. This means that final reports can begin to be written, or at least the framework of them.
Throughout the first five weeks of the season, we have covered a ton of players who have seen their NFL Draft stock rise with strong performances. This week was no different, as there were loads of fun matchups on display on Saturday.
So, it’s time for another edition of Seven Up.
Here are seven players who stood out most to me after going over the film from Week 6 of College Football:
Coming into this Week 6 matchup with one three-sack performance already under his belt, Texas A&M pass rusher Cashius Howell did it again against Mississippi State.
He finished with three sacks, three tackles, and a pass knocked down at the line of scrimmage. Howell is now up to seven sacks on the season, four of which have been in SEC play.
A point of contention amongst NFL scouts will continue to be his length. Howell’s arms are just 30 inches long, making him among the most extreme of outliers at the position. This could impact just how high his NFL Draft stock can rise.
However, Howell is racking up the production, plays with explosiveness, and has a detailed pass rush plan, as well as some of the fastest and most precise hands in the class. His floor is a designated pass rusher at the NFL level. But the amount of play-strength Howell displays gives him a high ceiling as an every-down player as well.
