With only one more week of College Football to go before we get into conference championship weekend and beyond, which 2026 NFL Draft prospects made the biggest statement in Week 13?

College Football Week 13 is now in the rearview mirror, and we officially have one more week of football before we get to conference championship weekend and into the College Football playoffs, bowl season, and the start of the 2026 NFL Draft pre-draft circuit.

You know what time it is. It’s time for another Seven Up, identifying seven draft prospects who put their draft stock on the line and saw it rise based on the impact they had on tape this past weekend. With the clock ticking down to zero, players are making a case to NFL teams, including one player with whom I first gained exposure.

This week, a new name at linebacker rose, a high-profile defensive tackle returned to the field, a bruising running back broke his school’s record, a big-bodied receiver made a flurry of contested grabs down the field, a tight end did the same in a high-leverage situation, and one quarterback has solidified his draft status.

So, which Week 13 standouts get a shoutout here?

Stanford linebacker Matt Rose racked up a massive 14 tackles, 12 of which were stop tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack in Stanford’s win over their rival this past weekend. He added another two pressures getting after the quarterback as well.

Admittedly, this was the first time I’ve ever watched Matt Rose, the brother of Mike, who was a linebacker prospect out of Iowa State a few years back. However, what was more impressive than his discipline to his fits and willingness to stick his nose in a gap to make tackles at the line of scrimmage was the instincts he showed in coverage as well.

Rose had a great feel sitting hook/curl in the middle of the field, roboting out up the seam, squatting up backside digs and crossers flying in behind him, and even sticking in man coverage on running backs out of the backfield. Rose is a fluid athlete as well, who could change directions and track down ball carriers around the boundary.

I immediately feel the need to watch his last few games against teams like Miami, Florida State, and Pitt now, too.
