It's been a long summer, but there are 10 players that are being extremely short-changed right now.

We are now just one week away from College Football Week 0 action, which means it’s time to bring 2027 NFL Draft summer scouting to an end.

The best part about summer scouting is that we do not have a consensus board to work off of. Most draft analysts have varying boards, and those boards will begin to cluster closer together by next Spring. For now, however, we get a glimpse at what each particular analyst may value the most when evaluating players, and how they stack their boards up.

For me, my board sits at about 140 players after a long summer of scouting. I’ve discussed many of them through positional rankings pieces, scouting reports, film breakdowns, and on episodes of the Daft on Draft Podcast. However, now it’s time to identify those players who I am willing to pound the table for, anticipating another year of growth as the season gets set to begin.

So, who am I willing to beat the drum for as we near the start of the 2026 season? I’ve got ten names for you.
