Scouting Report: Might as well get familiar with the name Monroe Freeling
A name you'll hear a lot leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling is set to be a massive pre-draft riser.
Continuing to pop out scouting reports leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, today we cover Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, who decided to leave school early and take his game to the next level.
A former four-star recruit and the top recruit out of South Carolina in the class of 2023, Freeling had his pick of the litter. While Freeling was initially crystal-balled to sign with Notre Dame out of high school, he pivoted and signed with Georgia instead.
Seeing the field immediately as a true freshman, Freeling appeared in eight games for the Bulldogs in the 2023 season. The following year, Freeling appeared in every game along the Georgia offensive line and started four games. While 2025 was his first season as a full-time starter, those earlier reps contributed to his consistent growth and end-of-season leap.
PFF charted Freeling with surrendering just nine pressures and three sacks in all of 2025 along the Georgia offensive line. One-third of those pressures came in the first three games of the season as well. For his efforts in 2025, Freeling was named a Second-Team All-SEC player by the coaches.
His scouting report has been written up and is ready to roll. So, let’s break it all down here.
