Scouting Report: Trey Zuhn III is a natural center stuck on an island
While he only played 126 snaps at center in 2025, the versatile A&M big man may just be one of the more intriguing ones in the class.
Texas A&M’s Trey Zuhn III is one of the more interesting names in the 2026 NFL Draft class. While he played nearly his entire collegiate career at left tackle for the Aggies, Zuhn is seen as a center at the NFL level, given his movement skills and lack of length in his arms.
The good news for NFL scouts and analysts looking to write up his scouting report, however, is that Zuhn also played 126 snaps at center this season in an unorthodox offensive line rotation in College Station. Texas A&M routinely put seven offensive linemen on the field in some sort of five-man grouping (it would be interesting for someone to tally just how many different offensive line combinations they used in 2025), and some of those groupings included Zuhn at center.
So, the body of work is negligible, but it is not non-existent. We can work with this. Evaluating Zuhn as a center here, what does the Texas A&M mainstay at left tackle bring to the next level as he gets set to hear his name called next month?

Injury History
Zuhn suffered an ACL tear in 2021 in his right knee as a true freshman. In the Spring of 2022, Zuhn suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder; he opted against surgery and played his Redshirt Freshman season through the pain. He later had surgery on that shoulder in December of 2022.
Other than the ACL and labrum, Zuhn has suffered minor inconveniences that have not held him out of games. This includes dislocating his kneecap in the fall of 2022, which did not force Zuhn to miss time, missing one game in 2022 while in the concussion protocol, and leaving one game in 2025 after getting rolled up on.
Zuhn also left after the first day of the Senior Bowl after limping off the field. That injury was not disclosed.
