The end of the football season is closer to its conclusion than its beginning, and we are now to the point of the season where players are deciding if they want to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, enter the transfer portal, or run it back.

That means it’s a messy time of year and hard to keep up with. But I’ve heard some things from agents, scouts, and personnel from both college and NFL programs. I do my best to provide that information when I get it.

It’s worth noting both now and repeated throughout the article, however, that the transfer portal is the Wild Wild West. Everything is a moving target. Schools and agents use other programs and players as leverage to get a better offer. Things change by the week, day, and hour.

That doesn’t make the information any less valuable. So, what’s going down as the college football season nears an end? Here is what I’m hearing.
