The Arizona State Sun Devils experienced a quick turnaround in 2025, winning the Big 12. Much of this had to do with the success of quarterback Sam Leavitt, the ironclad legs of fourth round pick Cam Skattebo, and the brilliance of Kenny Dillingham.

Leavitt, after transferring over from Michigan State, got the keys to the car as just a Redshirt Freshman in 2024. He threw for nearly 2,900 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions for the Sun Devils. Leavitt also added another 443 yards and five touchdowns with his legs.
